UMD alumni and friends are invited to attend the UMD Alumni Association’s Annual Spring Reception in the Twin Cities, at a new location, the Metropolitan Ballroom and Clubroom in Golden Valley, MN on Friday, April 27, 2012 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. It will be a delightful event and we would love to have you join us.
The award winning Metropolitan is a beautiful, inviting space. Enjoy musical selections by Tom Wegren, UMD music professor, pianist, and recording artist. Chancellor Lendley “Lynn” C. Black will give a brief update on the “State of UMD”. Visit with current and retired UMD faculty from a variety of fields. And, of course, there will be wonderful hors d’oeuvres prepared by D’Amico Catering and a full cash bar. Champ, the UMD mascot, will be on hand to pose for pictures with guests.
